Theme - Mardis Gras

Location: 401 Laurel Circle Drive Black Mountain, NC 28711

July 25th - 13 and older: Warm-ups - 4:40-5:00pm, Meet start at 6:00pm

July 26th - 12 and younger: Warm-ups - 7:30-7:45am, Meet start at 9:00am

Sign-ups are due by Tuesday, 7/15 at 9am.

We need everyone to plan to attend. 

Please let me know if your swimmer needs assistance with transportation!

FYI: There is a fee associated with this meet per swimmer and for each event they participate in. The team covers the cost. 

Meet Expectations For Swimmer & Parent Flow:

When events are announced, swimmers will report to the Clerk of Course located at the deep end of the pool deck, by the pump house. Once their event is completed, the swimmers will return to their team area. ONLY COACHES can set up on pool deck!!! All parents should be set up outside the fence. The pavilion will be available for seating on Saturday, NOT Friday. There will be restrooms, including showers available at the pool. There is also a restroom facility located near the stairs leading up to the pool from the lake.

Clerk of Course Entry to the clerk of course will be located at the deep end of the pool next to the pump house.

Junior Coaches - Please let me know if you are available to help the younger swimmers on Saturday by Wednesday, July 23rd. This is an open invitation to all Junior Coaches! 

Parking (including Handicap parking):

Parking will be available in designated areas around the pool complex. Parking at the tennis courts beside the pool and grassy area. A parking attendant will be there to assist. Additional parking available at the lower end of Lake tomahawk or at the Craigmont Tennis Courts per the map.

Please let me know if you are available to volunteer at conference.

Volunteer Meetings: 

Friday at 5:30pm, Saturday at 8:30am at the tall lifeguard stand on pool deck

Vendors:

● Eagle Sportz (event t-shirts) 

● Concessions – BBQ, Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, snacks, drinks

Heat Sheets - Will be available through Meet Mobile. Black Mtn will also have heat sheets available for sale at the meet.

Kiddie Pool -  Open for young sibling swimmers, but NO participating athletes! This area will be staffed with lifeguards, but parents you NEED to be present if you have a kid swimming.

"Fools in the Pool" - There will be a parent 100m Freestyle Relay on Saturday about mid-way through the meet. Let me know if anyone is interested in participating.
